Marco Bragonzi took part in the Red Fox Elbrus Race last year. This time he is in list of participants again.
- How did you know about festival?
Marco: From a monthly magazine. I would like to climb Mt. Elbrus. And I saw article of Russian trekker who won in the Red Fox Elbrus Race, and suddenly fall in love with this race.
- Do you have any experience of skyrunning race?
Marco: Usually I do ultra-trail running race in a lower location but much longer than this.
- What is your best result?
Marco: Two times finisher of the Tor Des Geants.
- What about preparation, training?
Marco: I train for a longer distance, always in the Italian Alps, from 2 k to 3 k meters and sometimes go up to 4.500 m.
- What can be main problem for you on the way to the top of Mt. Elbrus?
Marco: I think height and cold could be two main things to pay attention.
- Your forecast of your results in the competition.
Marco: Sincerely I expect only to reach the top and complete the race.
- What does trail running mean for you?
Marco: It’s a kind of movement meditation, you are alone with yourself, very near your limit, and you need to be concentrate and positive.
- How do you understand, where the boundary is?
Marco: When you stop to be rational.
- What can you advise for the festival’s participants?
Marco: The best. And you should understand yourself better.
