Oksana Stefanishina and Nadezhda Ermakova took the 5th place in the Monte Rosa SkyMarathon 2019

On June 22 in Italy the second legendary race of the Sky Summit Trophy series (mountain races at the height over 4000 m) was held, - the Monte Rosa SkyMarathon 2019. More than 400 participants from 25 countries started. 35 km long over moraine, snow fields and glaciers with 3,500 m vertical climb. It’s a course that athletes should overcome at one of the oldest races in skyrunning world.

It was hard test for many athletes. Only ten women's teams could finish. Russian girls Oksana Stefanishina and Nadezhda Ermakova took the 5th place among the strongest European teams! In 7 hours 50 minutes and 40 seconds they overcame the most difficult distance and entered in TOP5!

Oksana and Nadezhda are permanent participants of the Red Fox Elbrus Race. They were prize-winners of the festival many times. Last year Oksana became the best in the highest race in Russia - SkyMarathon® - Mt. Elbrus, 2350-5642 m. This year she won bronze in the first race of the Sky Summit Trophy series – 2019 SkyMarathon® - Mt. Elbrus.
