A few hours left before the start of the rapid ascent to Elbrus.


Azau Meadow is empty. Most of the participant climbed to the “Barrels”. Below there are the most desperate, those who dared to start from the Azau Meadow. 87 participants start from here, the very foot of Elbrus, and 173 athletes are going to start from the “Barrels”.


The sunny weather turned bad and it’s snowing upstairs. According to the forecast, it will be cloudy on Elbrus tomorrow and wind will blow at the top of the summit at a speed of 20 km. per hour. Temperature is about -24 degrees below zero. Therefore, all participants are advised to bring lightweight down and windproof jackets. Start from the "Barrels" - 7 am. The start time from the Azau Meadow is 6.30 in the morning.
