The “highest” Vertical Kilometer in the world starts tomorrow at 09:00.

A briefing of Vertical Kilometer (Vertical Kilometer® - Mt Elbrus, 2450-3450 м), qualifying start before the high-speed climb to Elbrus, was held at Azau Meadow today. It is here that the first struggle for the records in skyrunning will unfold.

During the Vertikal Kilometer also the Skyrunning Championship of Russia and “Viktory cup” will take place.

The current festival record holder Vitaly Chernov (Red Fox team) will take place in the Vertical Kilometer. He won this discipline three times. His best time, he run last year is 43 minutes, 14,6 seconds. Will his record be broken? We’ll know it very soon.

Elena Kravtchenko (Red Fox team) will also start tomorrow. She holds her leading position among women in Vertikal Kilometer for 4 years.
