International Victory Cup of the Army will take place for the second time within the Red Fox Elbrus Race 2017!
One of the key events of the IX. Red Fox Elbrus Race, hold from May, 1st till 8th, 2017 on Mt. Elbrus (5642 m) in the Caucasian mountains, is the II International Victory Cup among the military personnel. This event, hold since 2009 as ski-mountaineering competition, now includes also skyrunning competitions and has got international status since last year.

In next years' event, the national teams of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation and military personnel from other countries, who are cordially invited to take part, will be able to compete for the leadership in skyrunning and ski-mountaineering.
The altitude distance to overcome during the first step of the Red Fox Elbrus Race skyrunning competition, the Vertical Kilometer® - Mt. Elbrus, 2450-3450, is 1000 vertical meters.

The next step is the fast-speed climb to Mt. Elbrus West Summit. It is hold in two classes, "Sport" (professional class) as SkyMarathon® - Mt. Elbrus 2350-5642 m, and "Classic" as Skyrace® - Mt. Elbrus, 3780-5642 m.
