On May 7 the Red Fox TSL Challenge snowshoe race became a colorful ending to the Red Fox sponsored winter festival.

In prior years all festival competitors, including referees, organizers and media representatives participate in this exciting event.
A lot of snow fell the night before. Strong winds and blizzard conditions set the stage for participants of the race from start to finish.

The fastest snowshoe racer became Vitaly Chernov (Red Fox team), winner of the Vertical Kilometer® race. Eugeny Markov and Yuri Shtankov (Red Fox employee) crossed the finish line after Vitaly, taking second and third place respectively.

For women, Elena Kravchenko took first place, again, a winner of the Vertical Kilometer® race. Elena Lebedeva took second place , and Nadezhda Korolyatina finished third.

Eleven year old Timur Koren became the youngest participant of the Red Fox TSL Challenge. Though he didn’t have an official race number he outran many adults.

After the snowshoe race an awards ceremony was held where winners of every competition at the festival were awarded medals, cups and special prizes from the Red Fox company.

The 2015 Red Fox Elbrus Race, the seventh festival of winter sports is completed. Thanks to everybody attended for your participation and support!
